{"id":10887,"date":"2017-04-03T12:53:55","date_gmt":"2017-04-03T02:53:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/act\/?p=10887"},"modified":"2017-04-10T13:55:52","modified_gmt":"2017-04-10T03:55:52","slug":"ogorman-and-bourchier-take-act-open-titles","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/act\/news\/2017\/04\/03\/ogorman-and-bourchier-take-act-open-titles","title":{"rendered":"O\u2019Gorman and Bourchier take ACT Open titles"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Top seeds <strong>Gabrielle O\u2019Gorman<\/strong> (NSW) and <strong>Harry Bourchier<\/strong> (TAS) have taken out the titles at the <strong>2017 ACT Open<\/strong> (Mens Platinum AMT and Womens Silver AMT) on Saturday at the Canberra Tennis Centre.<\/p>\n<p>In the women&#8217;s silver AMT, Australian No. 61, O&#8217;Gorman\u00a0was up against third seed <strong>Sarina Kang <\/strong>(ACT) in the Women\u2019s singles Final. 21-year-old Kang was full of confidence after not dropping a set on her path to the final, however in-form O&#8217;Gorman proved too strong, taking the match comfortably 6-3, 6-2.<\/p>\n<p>The men&#8217;s final showcased the two top seeds of the platinum AMT event. Australian No. 40 <strong>Scott Puodziunas<\/strong> (QLD) was in excellent form for the duration of the event, taking out third seed and doubles tournament partner and fellow Queenslander\u00a0<strong>Jason Kubler<\/strong>\u00a0(QLD) in the semi final 6-0, 6-0.
