Kambah Tennis Club<\/strong>\u00a0has taken back to back titles in Division 1 of the\u00a0Spring Junior Pennant<\/strong>\u00a0competition. This is the second consecutive junior pennant win for the club, after the team claimed the Autumn pennant Division 1 crown earlier this year.<\/p>\n

Kambah team members, Patrick Roche<\/strong>, Marius van Rensburg<\/strong> and Aiden Battison<\/strong> were proud to receive their champions trophies for a second time this year.<\/p>\n

The competition\u00a0came to an end after 67 teams and 9 Divisions competed from September to December.<\/p>\n

Competition organiser, Brittany Hughes<\/strong>, said conditions were tough during the finals but all teams played well.<\/p>\n

“All players\u00a0battled it out like young professionals this season, with some big plays and long rallies,” she said.<\/p>\n

“The junior pennant competition is a great way for kids to get active in a friendly team environment, improve their tennis skills and have some fun at the same time.”<\/p>\n

Division 7 had some\u00a0long tie-break sets, while division 6 delivered the closest match, going\u00a0to three sets all and a count back on games.<\/p>\n
