Judy Murray
A former tennis player herself, Murray was the first coach of her two sons, Jamie and Andy. Andy has since won two Slam trophies and reached a career-high ranking of world No. 2, while Jamie is a top doubles player. She has been a national coach with the Lawn Tennis Association, worked with several tennis players throughout their careers, and is heavily involved with grassroots development. Captain of the British Fed Cup team since December 2011, she has said it’s a role she took partly to help grow the number of female coaches in Great Britain. She also is the founder of Set4Sport, a program created to help parents find easy and accessible ways to play with their children at an early age and develop the skills required for sports.

Matthew Limpus
Matt is a Tennis Australia Club Professional and also holds a certificate in IV Training and Assessment. He has had 15 years coaching experience with Lifetime Tennis and other current venues include, Nudgee College Boondall, St. Michael’s Ashgrove, St. Joseph’s Nundah and St. Kieran’s Brighton. For the last 8 years Matt has been a Coach Developer with Tennis Australia

Along with her qualifications as a TA Master Club Professional and certificates in Sports Coaching, Training and Assessing and Fitness – Strength and Conditioning Coach, Deanna has had experience as the Tennis Victoria Programs Coordinator for Get Into Cardio Tennis, Business Development Manager for ACE Coach and Corporate and the National Business Development Manager for Curves and Snap Fitness.

Rufus Keown
Rufus Keown is the Head of Coaches at Tennis Victoria and was previously the Coach Development Manager (VIC/TAS) at Tennis Australia (TA). Before joining Tennis, he was a full time tennis coach holding a Bachelor of Business Management from Monash University; a Graduate Diploma in Sports Management from Deakin University and is a Tennis Australia Club Professional Certified Coach. Rufus worked at the Victorian Tennis Academy in Melbourne for over 15 years rising to position of co-director. During this time, and particularly in the past 5 years, enrolments have trebled and the Victorian Tennis Academy is recognised as one of the leading delivers of grass roots tennis programs in the country. Involved in all aspects of the tennis business Rufus has a particular interest in delivering inspiring tennis experiences for 5-14 year olds, the age at which kids develop their passion for tennis and make it a game for life. In addition to managerial duties with VTA and being director of tennis at the Malvern Tennis Centre in Melbourne, Rufus cofounded the Head Aussie Mozzie tennis starter program and wrote the coaches manual for the program. In building a passion for the development of the sport in Australia Rufus has taken positions as an ANZ Tennis Hot Shots Ambassador, promoting Tennis Australia national grass roots program; as a Tennis Australia Learning Facilitator; and on the Local Coaches Advisory Group helping build relationships with coaches so that the industry can pull together and face its challenges together.

Emily holds a Bachelor of Exercise & Sports Science, Certificate III in Sport Coaching, TA Junior Development Coaching Course & is a current TA Club Professional student. Emily has extensive experience in the Health & Fitness and education industry working as a tutor & course writer for the New Zealand Institute of Health & Fitness. Emily has a long history in Tennis being a junior tennis player, Super 10’s Manager, coach, ballkid and holding various roles as a part of the Australian Open.

Steve Blundell
Steve is the Tennis Australia (TA) Talent Performance Girls Coach and is a TA High Performance Coach. Steve has previously been a coach at the Victorian institute of Sport (VIS), Platinum Talent Development Coach, TA Coach Developer and has coached numerous National Champions & Junior Davis/Fed Cup players. Steve was also a talented player himself, being a College Division 1 Graduate.
