MIDWESTERN JUNIOR COMPETITION

•  Competitions held during: ‘Summer’ – School Term 1, ‘Autumn’ – School Term 2,’Winter’ – School Term 3, ‘Spring’ – School Term 4
• Duration: 6 team draws – 5 rounds followed by Qualifying Semis, Semis & Finals and 8 team draws – 7 rounds followed by Semis & Finals (There is no play during School Holidays)
• Venues: Participating associations & clubs are: NORTH-WESTERN – playing off Ryde Tennis Centre, Meadowbank Park & Catholic Centre at Haberfield, BERALA-CARRAMAR – playing off Auburn or Sefton, CANTERBURY BANKSTOWN – playing of East Hills, FAIRFIELD – playing off Fairfield or Smithfield, NSW CATHOLIC – playing off Haberfield, SOUTHEND – playing of Enfield, WESTERN SUBURBS – playing off Concord
• Format: 2 boys or 2 girls per team in separate divisions. Each player plays 1 singles – best of 3 tiebreaker sets & 1 doubles. 4 ‘rubbers’ for each match. All sets are first to 6 games with the tie-breaker at 6 games all
• Match Times: Start time for home teams can be either 8:00/10:00am or 10:00/12:00pm, on two courts, or 8:00/12noon, on one court
