Women In Tennis Spring Collection

On Friday 2 September, the fabulous ladies from the Women in Tennis Committee organised a Spring Collection Fashion Show at the Wembley Downs Tennis Club.

Over 130 ladies attended this event and were treated to flowing champagne and a high tea before viewing the latest in sports fashion from Tennis Only, Claremont Sports and Spectrum Sports, along with stunning evening wear collections from Chateau Boutique in Shenton Park.

Linneys Jewellers were the major sponsors of the event, providing all three raffle prizes and adorning the ladies of the committee with stunning pieces to show-off throughout the event. Women in Tennis President, Trish Ross, was particularly fortunate as she was bejewelled  for three hours in a stunning pearl and diamond necklace with matching earrings, a total value of over $70,000!

The Women in Tennis Committee would like to thank all of the retailers involved in showcasing their products, along with Linneys Jewellers, MC Sue John, Oak Valley Truffles, MVC AV Services,  the Wembley Downs Tennis Club and the models who volunteered their time for the event – Christina Ladyman, Phoebe Prendergrast, Michelle Stinton, Sally Hewitt, Nola Carmignani, Pippin Parriss and crowd favourites Tristan Venables, Hayden Burke and Craig Campbell from Wembley Downs Tennis Club.

The very lucky winners of the raffle were:

1st prize ( A stunning Pearl Necklace from Linneys) – Meg Simpson from Wembley Downs TC

2nd Prize (Pair of pearl earrings from Linneys) – Pam Smith from Women in Tennis

3rd Prize ($250 voucher to Linneys) – Maureen Patman

All proceeds from this wonderful event went directly towards the development of Junior female tennis players in WA.
