The intention of the SunSmart Club Grants is to provide clubs with $200 in funding to increase club membership by conducting a club activity or event such as a MLC Tennis Hot Shots Challenge. Club tournaments, corporate days, come and try days and other club and membership initiatives are eligible.
Application Information
The philosophy of SunSmart is to protect our members and supporters from the harmful effects of the sun throughout the year. SunSmart’s objectives are to:
- Empower people to make healthy behaviour choices relevant to skin cancer
- Advocate for, and support the implementation of sun protection policies and practices that lead to long term structural and organisational change
- Reduce sunlight expose by encouraging people to change their behaviour and environment
Tennis West is committed to promoting the SunSmart message through its many programs and events.
On conclusion of the event, the final report and an invoice (ABN and bank details included) must be submitted to Tennis West before any funding is forwarded. The final report must confirm conduct of the event as per the club’s original application and include photos.
