About the Player Development Fund
The Player Development Fund has been set up for the purpose of funding (in full or in part) initiatives through which it can be demonstrated that there will be a significant benefit to the development of WA tennis players (see guidelines in Application Form)
Grant Applications
Formal applications for grants will be required on the Player Development Fund Application Form. Player Development Fund grants are available to Tennis West affiliated club players. A Tennis West panel will allocate funds at its discretion and subject to it being satisfied that all the application criteria have been met.
Use of Funds
Initiatives that will be considered eligible for funding will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Funding is available each year but is limited, given that Tennis West is seeking to draw down the capital in the fund slowly to ensure the sustainability of the fund over many years to come. The fund is administered by Tennis West with the assistance of a steering group to ensure it meets its objectives and benefits the club network.
This fund has been set up to deliver real value to our affiliated club and player network. We hope you will apply to it if you think you meet the criteria for a grant.
How to apply:
Application forms are available from Tennis West. To obtain a copy, contact Community Tennis Officer, Elle Dignan 6462 8303 or edignan@tennis.com.au to obtain a copy of the application form.
