Tennis West Regional Development Admnistrators (RDA) act as a vital link between Tennis West and their Regional Tennis Zones.
Tennis West, with guidance from each Zone Committee appoint the RDA’s for a 12 month term.
The RDA’s main roles include:
Promote the sport of tennis and Tennis West/Tennis Australia programs and initiatives to the clubs and players
Communicate and publicise, via various methods, programs, events, coaching and tennis activity occurring in WA to all clubs
Work closely with the Zone Committee Office Bearers and Tennis West staff
The RDA’s also coordinate important tasks such as Healthway and Department of Sport anmd Recreation grants and aquittals, team representation and events such as CBH Country Zone Chllenge and Country Week; Women In Tennis Foundation Cup, D’Arcy Slater Cup; Schools Classic, Tennis in Schools�and Regional Roadshows.
RDA’s have an annual ‘in-service’ day to ensure they have an understanding of Tennis West’s dircetion and objectives.
