CBH Country Zone Challenge
Schools Classic
The Schools Tennis Classic (STC) is the largest participation tennis tournament in Western Australia. It is an inter-school, teams event catering to both Metropolitan and Country schools across the State.
There are 3 major events contested in the Country Sunsmart Schools Tennis Classic. They are the Mursell Shield, the Herbert Edwards Cup and the Academy Plate. These events provide a variety of age categories ranging from primary school to high school ages, and are open to teams of boys and girls.
Academy Plate:Years 1 - 7 (mixed event)
Herbert Edwards Cup: Years 8 - 10 (separate boys & girls events)
Mursell Shield: Years 8 - 12 (separate boys & girls events)
Tennis West, in conjunction with and on behalf of School Sport WA, will conduct the 2011 Schools Tennis Classic.

Women In Tennis Foundation Cup
The Women in Tennis Foundation Cup is a closed country event for the states best 13 and under regional female tennis players. Junior girls are selected to represent their zone at this event which has become a highlight in on the country tennis calendar. The event has been running for many years and has had a longstanding sponsor; the WA Women in Tennis Committee.
The players compete as a team in a round robin doubles event and as an individual in the Australian Ranking (AR) Singles event. The doubles and singles match results earnt each participant points towards their team and final standing.
The four semi finalists of the the singles AR event, are selected to represent Western Australia (WA) at the Annual Girls Foundation Cup Interstate Challenge.
D’Arcy Slater Cup (formally Clough Cup)
The D’Arcy Slater Cup is a closed country event for the states best 13 and under regional male tennis players. Junior boys are selected to represent their zone at this event which has become a highlight in on the country tennis calendar. Tennis West is pleased to have the D’Arcy Slater Foundation as naming rights sponsor to the event.
The players compete as a team in a round robin doubles event and as an individual in the Australian Ranking (AR) Singles event. The doubles and singles match results earnt each participant points towards their team and final standing.
