Country Committee

Tennis Victoria’s Country Committee is a made up of a representative or delegate from the 11 country regions. The Country Committee meets a number of times a year to address issues and make recommendations to the Tennis Victoria staff and Board about the sport of tennis in country Victoria.

“For every Victorian country person to have the opportunity to play tennis to the best of their ability and be in a safe and welcoming environment.”

Goals

1. Act as an active communicator between Tennis Victoria  and Tennis Australia, Regional Tennis Councils and country Victoria’s  tennis stakeholders in general for the interest of tennis
2. Be a strong voice for regional Victoria tennis
3. Increase participation in tennis throughout regional Victoria
4. Coordinate, support and enhance the Inter-regional Championships and junior Regional Team Events
5. Enhance and support clear junior development pathways for regional Victoria
