Tennis Victoria Future Stars program provides some of the most promising and talented 12/u players (birth years 2000 and younger) with squad training and opportunities to assist them to take the next step in the national player development pathway. Players as young as nine can be selected into the Future Stars program on a per term basis with a view of then attaining selection into the National Academy Melbourne.
The program provides these juniors with a comprehensive training environment and specialised strength and conditioning program, as well as full duty of care tours for all National championships (currently four 12/u Nationals per year).
The program is designed to support and complement a player’s current weekly training (in collaboration with their private coaches) as well as their competition schedule. The program works closely with Tennis Australia’s National Academy – Melbourne program and is based at Melbourne Park.
