
Tennis Victoria is committed to assisting the development of junior players through various player programs that cater towards age and playing ability.
Tennis Victoria has repositioned its player development programs in 2012 to align with the national player pathway. The entry points into the player pathway are through Talent Development activities.
Tennis Victoria will offer the most talented players that emerge from the Talent Development program the opportunity to be in the Future Stars Program. This program is for players aged 12/u and is designed to accelerate their development and meet Tennis Australia’s National Academy criteria.
In addition, Tennis Victoria runs a Player Support Program for athletes aged 12-16. This program is designed to help develop and support players to reach the next level in their tennis playing careers.
