The Sports Development Program is a joint initiative between Tennis Victoria and Sports Education & Development Australia (SEDA), specifically designed for young people who would like to pursue a career in the Sport and Recreation industry or other like industries. If you are a year 10, 11 or 12 student you can complete your VCE, VCAL and Certificates III and IV in Sport and Recreation leading to a Diploma of Sport Development.

Core curriculum involves theoretical and practical experience in sports administration, marketing, fitness, coaching, event/project management, literacy, numeracy and career planning.

Am I eligible?

The program is:

  • open to both males and females aged 16-19
  • not dependent on sports skill
