
There are many barriers which prevent culturally and linguistically diverse communities from accessing sport. The Multicultural Tennis Program breaks down these barriers and provides easy access to the sport for members of new and emerging communities. The program provides tennis playing opportunities for many multicultural communities of all ages and abilities.
The program:
The Dandenong Tennis Club are inviting the community of Dandenong for Sunday social sessions of tennis every Sunday from 2.30-4.30pm. The program provides an opportunity for a fun weekly hit of tennis with others in your area of all ages, cultural backgrounds and abilities. Racquets and balls are provided. People from culturally and linguistically diverse communities in the area are strongly encouraged to attend.

Welcome to tennis – Tennis in 14 languages
The Welcome to Tennis booklet is designed to welcome people newly arrived to Australia, to the sport of tennis. The booklet includes a brief history of the sport, where the sport is played, the benefits of playing, some scoring information, definition of key terms and some tips of how to play.
