Tennis Victoria is pleased to announce the Top 50 Clubs for the 2014/15 year, based on the number of players registered by affiliated clubs. We are excited to welcome 19 new clubs to the Top 50 in 2014/15, with 12 of these being clubs that have recently rejoined the Victorian tennis family under the new affiliation model.

Congratulations to all clubs on their efforts in increasing the number of registered participants at their club.

Fast facts:

  • East Malvern TC becomes the third Victorian club to surpass 1,000 registered participants, growing substantially due to a great partnership with their coaching team.
  • 11 of the Top 50 Clubs are based in regional Victoria, with Geelong LTC (4th), Point Lonsdale TC (5th) and Anglesea TC (7th) placing in the top 10 in the state.
  • Metropolitan club newcomers to the top 10 include Bundoora TC (6th), Notting-Hill Pinewood TC (8th), Grace Park Hawthorn Club (9th) and Beaumaris LTC (10th) all of whom have shown strong growth in participation numbers.
  • 60% of Victorian clubs increased their player registrations in 2014/15, demonstrating a commitment to increasing local participation and registering all players connected to their club.
