Tennis Victoria is pleased to announce that seven time Grand Slam singles champion, Evonne Goolagong Cawley, will be the special guest at this year’s Championships Dinner.
A champion of Australian sport, Goolagong Cawley, continues the tradition of high quality guests at this event. As a previous Wimbledon singles champion in 1971 and 1980 and doubles in 1974, Evonne will share her stories and memories of Wimbledon and her illustrious career.
Tennis Victoria’s Championships Dinner is a night where Victorian tennis achievements are recognised and rewarded in the wonderful surrounds of the Melbourne Cricket Ground. The Victorian Tennis Awards are presented to outstanding clubs, coaches, tournaments, volunteers and juniors.
