Tennis Victoria today announced the finalists for the upcoming Tennis Victoria Championships Dinner to be held at the MCG on Monday 23 June 2014. In what is sure to be a fantastic night of entertainment it is more importantly an opportunity to reward the efforts of the tennis community on the night.  Hosted by Ian Cover and with special tennis guest Margaret Court, we will celebrate the esteemed Victorian Tennis Awards.

Victorian Spirit of Tennis Award – Winner to be announced on the night

The number and quality of nominations received this year was of a high standard with the tennis community fully supporting the Victorian Tennis Awards initiative.

It is pleasing to see two country Clubs named as finalists in the final category of the night with Kyneton and District TC and Yaapeet TC joining Melton South TC and Willison Park TC with all four clubs also making their Victorian Tennis Awards debut as well.

In the Junior Athlete of the Year categories, last year’s winners Destanee Aiava and Marc Polmans will be looking to go back to back but will face strong competition from Jamiee Fourlis and Danielle McIntyre in the female award while younger brother Greg Polmans along with Lucas Vuradin will challenge Marc Polmans for the male award.
