Tennis Victoria has developed an innovative online club development resource called Game Set Match which provides affiliated clubs with many tools and resources to help it achieve best practice.

Game Set Match is a club development program covering Tennis Victoria’s Best Practice Guidelines in the areas of business operations, facility development, financial management, participation programs, volunteer management, coaching and officiating, player development and the environment.

In Game Set Match, your club will have access to the relevant tools and resources to assist you in meeting the requirements of each level:

• Game level – minimum operating guidelines
• Set level – intermediate operating guidelines
• Match level – benchmark operating guidelines

Clubs who achieve Game level will be able to apply for a lock-up logo featuring ‘tennis’ logo and your club logo (see example to the left).

Facility Guidelines

Facility Guidelines are now available within the Game Set Match website and provide information to affiliates, local governments and other stakeholders regarding best practice facility standards.

These guidelines should be considered when undertaking capital works and planning for future improvements. The recommendations and standards on this website are intended as a guide only and should be used in consultation with all stakeholders.
