
The Multicultural Program improves the capacity of local tennis clubs to engage, attract and retain participants from multicultural backgrounds by providing easier access to the sport of tennis for members of new and emerging communities.

The Welcome to Tennis booklet is designed to welcome people newly arrived to Australia, to the sport of tennis. The booklet includes a brief history of the sport, where the sport is played, the benefits of playing, some scoring information, definition of key terms and some tips of how to play. All this information is provided in 14 different languages, and copies of the booklet are available for clubs who run the multicultural program to distribute.
