Tennis Victoria

Affiliation Benefits

Tennis Victoria’s ability to offer numerous programs and services to your club is largely dependent on the contributions made by those who play our sport. These activities are provided to your club to grow participation and provide advocacy on important issues.

The combination of the affiliation and player registration fee provides your club with access to a range of benefits provided by Tennis Victoria.

How to make the most of your affiliation with Tennis Victoria

Without the support of our affiliated clubs, centres and associations we would not have been in the position to:

  • Provide unique participation opportunities to over 120,000 players in 2011/12
  • Implement a management plan together with $400,000 of grant funding to reopen 850 red porous courts
  • Launch a highly successful state-wide talent identification program
  • Represent the interest of clubs as the Department of Sustainability and Environment considers changes to lease agreements for clubs on Crown land
  • Provide player development programs such as Future Stars and the Player Support Program
  • Distribute over $1.2M for court construction via the court rebate program

The points listed above are only a sample of the work Tennis Victoria does on behalf of the tennis community.

Your players not only receive the benefit of having these club based benefits but also have the opportunity to access specific member benefits such as Personal Accident Insurance.

Community Tennis Officers

Have a Tennis Victoria Community Tennis Officer (CTO) attend your next committee meeting to assist in developing your club and getting the most out of your affiliation. CTOs can help your club build strong links with local council, schools, providers and community groups through the assistance of Tennis Victoria.

To ensure viability within the club it is vitally important to maintain relationships with key stakeholders. Tennis Victoria staff have built strong relationships with local councils, schools and other community organisations which can assist your club. Arrange a club visit from a Community Tennis Officer to assist – whether that be through attracting new members, club planning, revenue generation or facility development. Please contact Tennis Victoria on (03) 8420 8420 or your Community Tennis Officer directly to arrange a club visit.
