Tennis Victoria

Facilities Development Fund

Purpose

The Facilities Development Fund provides affiliated tennis clubs/facilities with the opportunity to offer tax deductibility on donations when fundraising for a registered Community Tennis facility project that includes the upgrade and/or expansion of club facilities.

In addition, the Fund complements the recommendations and strategies outlined in the Tennis Victoria Facilities Masterplan.

In the event of a Natural Disaster, the Fund may be used to assist affected clubs where funding gaps are identified i.e. not covered by insurance or other funding sources.

If your club is planning to fundraise for a Community Tennis facility project, Tennis Victoria can accept applications for fundraising grants through the Australian Sports Foundation (ASF) and the Neale Fraser Foundation (NFF)*. For more information, please read the Tennis Victoria Policy for the NFF Facilities Development Fund and the application form is available for download below.

*Tax deductible donations can be collected towards approved club projects. Donations must be made unconditionally to the ASF, however donors may nominate the NFF project as their preferred beneficiary. Donors may also nominate an individual club project, provided the initiative has been approved by the NFF and the ASF. Donor preferences are taken into consideration when distributing funds.
