MLC tennis Hot Shots: introduction to tennis for 4 years old and up.
One of Tennis World’s most innovative tennis programs is called MLC Tennis Hot Shots. This exciting new program is specially designed for children in the age group of 4-12 years old.
Different age groups and skill level requires a different approach towards the development of a child. For this reason the program adopts three progressive stages (red, orange and green) and matches the individual skill level of each player.

MLC Tennis Hot Shots provides young players with the opportunity to play with modified equipment, from their very first session. Players will serve, rally and score in an exciting competition format.
The MLC tennis Hot shots runs on weekdays (from 4.30pm) at Melbourne Park, on Friday afternoon from 4.30 pm at Albert Reserve and on Saturday morning at both venues.
Price: Minis/red ball: $17/session (45min)
Orange ball: $21/session (1h)
Green ball: $29/session (1h30)
Junior Development Squad ( previously called ” young stars”)
The Junior Development Squad is a program for 8-12 years old players. It takes holistic approach to training with drills, technique and points. It is the transition program for young players that leads into our high performance Academy. players will learn how to develop their game and they will be introduced to the competitive level. It’s recommended to train at least 2 days a week with the squad alongside private lessons, especially if the players feel like they want to take tennis more seriously.
Benefits for the player: development of all technical skills to reach an advanced level, physical development (agility, speed, strength, flexibility, coordination, perception, space awareness), understand tactical aspects, strategy and personal development (understand and respect rules, attitude towards learning, concentration to win a challenge, self-confidence, socialisation, and team spirit).
