Bayside Comps: another great season for Tennis World

The regular season of Bayside Comps recently ended and once again our club did very well with 4 teams qualified for the finals!

Special congratulations to Peter and John Koutsouroupas, Olivia Palaskas and Robert Rachici from Section 10 and Toby Paterson, Julia Skiold, Tallie Collins, Michaela Majdan and Kieran Ulrich from Section 13 who finished on the top of the ladder in their section.

There were some epic Bayside semi-final matches last weekend. Well done to all teams that played.

  • Section 8 just lost in a thriller to Glen Eira Brook, with 3 sets a piece but went down by 2 games…. 30 to 28!! Hard luck guys but great effort!
  • Section 10 had a very solid win, 29-15 against Hampton & will be playing in the Grand Final this weekend.
  • Section 13 won by a whopping 28 games 36-8 against Le Page. You wouldn’t want to be facing these guys in the Grand Final!
  • Section 18 – had a very close match, just going down by 5 games to St Joan of Arc

Thanks for all your efforts, great to see such close games in the finals. Our club is proud of you! Good luck to the Tennis World teams in the Grand Final this weekend.
