Tournaments

Tennis Tasmania is responsible for the following tournaments and events: 

• Moorilla Hobart International- The premier event in Tasmania, a WTA International Level event.
• McDonalds Burnie International - Part of the Pro Circuit, this event has been held at the Burnie Tennis Club for many years. 
• Australian Money Tournaments – Check the Tennis Australia National Calendar and also the Tennis Tasmania Tournament Calendar below for more tournament dates and information.
• Optus Junior Tour Events- Check the Tennis Australia National Calendar and also the Tennis Tasmania Tournament Calendar below for more tournament dates and information.
• Junior Development Series- ITN based events for juniors of all standards. ITN system ensures players compete against players of similar skill level, insuring quality tennis and a lot of fun. See Junior Development Series Calendar below for dates and details.
• Team Events (Junior) – During the year, Tasmanian juniors will have the opportunity to try-out for Tasmanian state teams that travel interstate to participate at National Championships.  Keep a look-out through the 2010 tournament calendar when trials will be held.  Contact Tennis Tasmania on (03) 6108 8200 if you have any further questions.
