The Optus 14s Australian Championships were held in December with third-seeded Harry Bourchier taking out second-seeded Daniel Guccione 6-2 6-3 in the final to claim the title. The consistent Bourchier became the first Tasmanian to win the 14s Australian title since Richard Fromberg lifted the trophy in 1984.
