35+ Seniors

Tennis Tasmania welcomes players to 35+ Seniors Tennis, where our mission is to increase the playing opportunities and social interaction for tennis players of all standards. Tennis is a sport that we can play for a lifetime however as one player said “it’s always nice to play someone your own age”.

Seniors tennis tournaments are held in all states and territories within Australia, with up to 1000 players competing each year for the Teams Trophy at the Australian Seniors Tennis Championships. In the individual Championships, players compete for the honour to represent Australia at the ITF World Teams Championships. Tennis Seniors Australia will provide for more information about these events.

Within Tasmania, Tennis Tasmania is responsible for organising Social Tennis days and Tournaments, including the Tasmanian Seniors Championships.
