Additional Support

Sports Vouchers

The Sports Vouchers program is a Government of South Australia initiative administered by the Office for Recreation and Sport. The program provides an opportunity for primary school aged children from Reception to Year 7 to receive up to a $50 discount on sports membership/registration fees. The purpose is to increase the number of children playing organised sport by reducing cost as a barrier to participate in sport.

If you haven’t already, please register your club as a Sports Vouchers venue and promote that to current and potential members. Join Sports Vouchers here.

MyTennis

My Tennis is a simple and quick online membership system for clubs and players. This free registration system is available to all affiliated tennis clubs in Australia. For more information visit MyTennis  or speak to your local Participation Leader.

Sponsorship

Sponsorship is a mutually beneficial business relationship between two parties, the business (sponsor) and the club (sponsored).
In terms of tennis clubs, having sponsors can significantly help clubs to reach their goals and objectives. The financial support of sponsors is often used to reduce the costs for players, of uniforms and competitions while also supporting the general running of the club.

Sponsorship may be in the form of cash, donated goods and services or access to the resources or staff of the sponsor.

More information regarding sponsorship can be found here

Facility Development

All tennis clubs are encouraged to speak to Tennis SA before they look at upgrading their tennis facilities as Tennis Australia offer a wide range of funding and knowledge to assist. Click here for more information.

Club Health Check

Tennis Australia, in collaboration with The University of SA (CERM ©) have developed a series of performance benchmarks to assist Australian tennis facility operators to annually benchmark the performance of their tennis facility.

Why Benchmark?

The indicators will become a critical tool for facility operators, Member Associations (MAs), Government and Tennis Australia in determining where best to allocate resources and assistance.
