SA Facilities Development Unit

Building a foundation for your club’s future

As an acknowledgment of the importance of tennis facilities in maintaining and improving the ‘health’ of tennis, Tennis SA has established a Facilities Development Unit. In order to grow the capacity of this unit to meet the demand for new tennis facilities and secondly the demand from other sectors, an alliance has been formed between Tennis SA and SPORTDEV AUSTRALIA PTY LTD, a professional Project Management company and subsidiary of E*3 Pty Ltd.

The alliance arrangement has increased the resources available for the service and taken advantage of the project management expertise and systems provided by SPORTDEV AUSTRALIA without increasing the costs of the service to Tennis SA affiliates and affiliates of member associations.

Moving forward, the alliance provides an opportunity for Tennis SA to provide outstanding service that is much needed whilst reducing the risk of the Tennis SA operations in this area.

SPORTDEV AUSTRALIA works with Tennis SA to implement the Tennis Australia facility concepts designed to ensure that Tennis SA has influence over the development of tennis facilities.

Tennis SA staff will consult with clubs and deliver club operation advice, whilst staff from Sport Dev Australia will provide project management, engineering advice in relation to the TA facility concept plans
