About the Ken McGregor Foundation – “Supporting the next generation of tennis champions”

The Ken McGregor Foundation has been established to assist our next generation of International tennis players. Ken was a legend of South Australian tennis and we are thrilled to recognise his contribution through the foundation.

South Australia has a proud history of producing champion tennis players. Some of tennis’ greatest names have developed their craft in our backyard before going on to achieve grand slam success and/or represent Australia in the Davis Cup team.  Icons such as Adrian Quist, Ken McGregor, John Fitzgerald, Brod Dyke, Darren Cahill, Mark Woodforde, Lleyton Hewitt and Alicia Molik have dominated international tennis from the early 1930′s through to the present day.

In order to maintain our proud tennis history and continually develop Australia’s tennis superstars it is important that we provide our talented juniors with the necessary resources and the pathway that will ensure the greatest chance of success at the top level.

In line with our commitment to support player development, we are delighted to announce the creation of the Ken McGregor Foundation – it’s role is to support the development of South Australia’s emerging young tennis players.

The Ken McGregor Foundation is a registered project with the Australian Sports Foundation Ltd (ASF). The ASF was   established to assist organisations raise funds for the development of sport in Australia. Through this arrangement,  donations of $2 or more are tax deductible.

Your donation will contribute to the future success of South Australian junior tennis players on the international stage.
