History: 

 The Royal Park Tennis Club has a history that dates back to 1889 and interwines with that of 4 other tennis clubs.  All 5 have been on site in the north eastern corner of Royal Park at various times since 1929.

What started as a 2 court facility has built up to a 14 court complex under lights, operating as one club, with a community based, open access philosophy.
