Tennis Winter Wonderland

Tennis Queensland is celebrating a wonderful winter of tennis with our state’s biggest and most prestigious events!

Served up first on court is the 2013 Queensland Open. Held from 22-25 June at the Queensland Tennis Centre, this tournament is our state’s pinnacle open event.  Following the 2013 Plexicushion Queensland Open is the Rod Laver Lead in Tournament then the 2013 Rod Laver QLD Junior Championships to wrap up the Winter Wonderland!

2013 Queensland Open Qualifying Starts

Sunday 23 June

2013 Queensland Open Main Draw Starts

Sunday 23 June – Following last’s year’s succes Tennis Queensland will be hosting the 2013 Queensland Open Player’s Party on Sunday June 23. The event will look to start at 7pm and will be held at a venue yet to be determined.

• Food & drinks provided!

Play all day, party all night!

Tuesday 25 June

Twilight Finals – this is an open event which is sure to provide tennis lovers with some top class match play and includes a free BBQ from 4pm

Friday 28 June

Rod Laver Lead in Tournament Starts

Monday 1 July

Rod Laver Lead in Tournament Ends

Tuesday 2 July

2013 Rod Laver QLD Junior Championships starts – This is Queensland’s largest junior event, with over 600 participants from all over Australia!

Saturday 6 July

2013 Rod Laver QLD Junior Championships Finals 

TheWinter Wonderland Defrost BBQ will be held at the Queensland Tennis Centre on Saturday July 6.  This event is open to the public and will prove to be a wonderful day of outstanding junior tennis and a FREE BBQ!
