These workshops are to provide information to teachers about Tennis’ updated curriculum resource and, how to deliver tennis in the HPE curriculum, Sporting Schools funding, linking to local clubs and the TQ Tennis in Schools pathway.

Tennis’ Program Packages offered through Sporting Schools have slightly changed to make it easier for schools.  Please see attached PDF for more information.

Term 1 2017 applications are opening now for schools so it is a good time to be contacting schools you work with to see when they are planning to deliver tennis and what your role can be.  Please consider recommending the Play program option to schools that have been partnered for a while to encourage the establishment of competitions in and across schools.

If you have any questions or would like further information in relation to the Federal Government’s Sporting Schools Funding, please contact your Participation Leader or Jenni via [email protected]  for Metro West, Sunshine Coast, Far North, South and West regions and Leanne [email protected] for Metro East, Metro North, Gold Coast, Central and North regions.
