Tennis Queensland in conjunction with the Department of Sport and Recreation, Tennis Australia and the Australian Sports Commission conduct a state wide indigenous tennis program aimed at developing tennis programs that can be taken into indigenous communities and schools.
The program adopts a holistic approach to sport development by assisting indigenous Australian’s to participate in the game of tennis and/or become coaches, officials and administrators. Tennis Queensland ensures all participants have an enjoyable and safe tennis experience.
Tennis Queensland is continuously establishing a network of schools in all regions to participate in the Indigenous Tennis. If you would like any more information on the Tennis Queensland Indigenous Program, please contact Elia Hill at [email protected] or on 07 3120 7900.
