Tennis Queensland in conjunction with the Department of Sport and Recreation, Tennis Australia and the Australian Sports Commission conduct a state wide indigenous tennis program aimed at developing tennis programs that can be taken into indigenous communities and schools.
The program adopts a holistic approach to sport development by assisting indigenous Australian’s to participate in the game of tennis and/or become coaches, officials and administrators. Tennis Queensland ensures all participants have an enjoyable and safe tennis experience.
Tennis Queensland is continuously establishing a network of schools in all regions to participate in the Indigenous Tennis. If you would like any more information on the Tennis Queensland Indigenous Program, please contact Elia Hill at ehill@tennis.com.au or on 07 3120 7900.
