The Newcombe Medal, Australian Tennis Awards celebrate and recognise the performances, achievements and contributions made by outstanding members of the tennis family each year.

In 2016 a new nomination process for the Newcombe Medal, Australian Tennis Awards has been introduced. From this year, nominations will no longer be accepted directly for these awards – instead, nominees must enter the Queensland Tennis Awards, with the winners of each category in each state to become finalists for the Newcombe Medal, Australian Tennis Awards.

It’s exciting news for all winners at this year’s Queensland Tennis Awards, to be held on the 29th of October – with a chance to go on and be recognized on a national stage.

In 2015, Brisbane Boys College received the highest honour for schools in tennis, taking out the Newcombe Medal for Most Outstanding School.

To be eligible for the 2016 Newcombe Medal, Australian Tennis Awards we encourage all members of the tennis community to nominate for their local state or territory awards. Click here to find out how to nominate yourself or someone you know in 2016.

The 2016 Newcombe Medal, Australian Tennis Awards will be held at Crown Palladium in Melbourne on Monday 28 November. For more information visit tennis.com.au.
