Brisbane Boys College (BBC) finished their International Schools Federation Tennis World Schools Championships (Qatar, 8-15 March) campaign in fourth position.

After winning the Australian Schools Tennis Championships last year the team from BBC earnt their place to compete amongst the top 30 teams from 16 countries at the World Schools Championships.

The team consisting of Jie Dong, Lewis Edwards, Jack Jaede, Nick Liddy, Tom Liddy and Mitchell Wilson advanced to the semi-finals but were defeated by China – Taipei. The team then went on to play Turkey in the bronze medal playoff.

The next ISF Tennis WSC will take place in Brazil in 2017.
