Some of Queensland’s youngest players have shown off their potential future in the sport at the Super 10s National Finals in Melbourne on the weekend. The Queensland girls team were victorious, defeating New South Wales in the grand final. The boys also met their New South Wales counterparts in the grand final but were defeated and settled for second place.

Super 10s is for players born in 2004 and 2005. Players play one singles and one doubles match, with matches timed and lasting for 50 minutes. As per ITF guidelines, players use a Wilson green ball (75 per cent compression of a yellow ball).
