Biloela, a small country town situated in central Queensland, will be cheering on Ana Ivanovic (SRB) at the Australian Open 2015.

The town rounded off the top 10 of Australia’s most enthusiastic tennis towns as part of the AO Tennis Blitz town leaderboard in 2014.

Coolum Beach on the Sunshine Coast was Queensland’s other inclusion in the top 20 and will be cheering for Milos Raonic (CAN).

There was a fierce rivalry between the top towns during the final weeks of the online ‘Hit the Target’ competition and multiple place changes occurred over the course of the competition. The top 20 town-player match-ups are as follows:

7. Stan Wawrinka – Templestowe (VIC) 17. Milos Raonic – Coolum Beach (QLD)

The AO Tennis Blitz aligns all main draw players, 128 men and 128 women, with the top 256 ranked towns with Australian Open players based on their world ranking on the date of acceptance into the event. For more information on how points were awarded to towns please visit tennis.com.au
