State 35+ Come and Try Day

All across Queensland on Sunday June 9th 2013, tennis clubs and associations will be uniting in a state-wide project to increase sport participation in adults 35 years and over.

Over 23 Tennis Queensland affiliated clubs have volunteered to hold a free event including activities such as raffles, free court hire, ball machines, free coaching, meet the coach and members and opening their courts up for the community to give tennis a go.

The idea of the day is to showcase the sport as a healthy social alternative that can be played by anyone of any age and skill level.
