The Queensland Tennis Centre is owned by the government and was built as a community facility with two major goals:
1. Anyone can use it! Therefore courts (even Pat Rafter Arena) can be hired out for rates comparable to court hire rates around Brisbane. Aside from the courts people can also hire out functions rooms
2. It has to be capable of hosting an international event
Queensland’s Home of Tennis tours offer a special behind the scenes look at the Queensland Tennis Centre and Brisbane International venue.
Walk through the venue and experience the Brisbane International Player areas not usually open to the public. Plus you can see some amazing items from the history of tennis in Queensland.
If you would like a tour of the Queensland Tennis Centre or are interested in becoming a Tennis Queensland volunteer tour guide please contact Tennis Queensland on 07 3120 7900 or email kmillman@tennis.com.au .
