Kassandra Dunser

Kassandra Dunser has been playing tennis since the age of seven, when she was given a racquet as a birthday present from one of her friends.

Kassandra already has her sights set on the big stage and enjoys playing “on the same courts as the famous people”.

She enjoys the challenge of competing against older girls, but feels most comfortable when she’s around her friends on tour.

Kassandra likes to listen to music between matches – especially “fast music that gets me going”.

She admires Serbian star Ana Ivanovic for her tenacity and calm persona.

Her mum, Lee, is a hairdresser and her dad, Dirk, is an operations manager. Kassandra one day hopes to play in Grand Slam tournaments and to “be the best I can”.
