Isabella Holland continued her good form in 2010 after a break-out year in 2009, with solid results at senior level.
After a slow start to the year with knee problems, she made the doubles final at an ITF event in Ipswich with Sally Peers.
In 2009, in addition to making her senior Grand Slam debut in both singles and doubles at the Australian Open, she reached the last eight or better in doubles at every junior major.
A fan of Roger Federer for his “cool, calm, collected attitude on court,” Isabella loves meeting new people and travelling to new locations.
She also plays touch football and enjoys going shopping and to the movies. Her goal in tennis is “to play for my country, win a Grand Slam and make the WTA top 10”.
In 2007 Isabella represented Australia in the Junior Fed Cup final, contributing to her nation’s victory over Poland in the international 16/u event.
Isabella started playing tennis at the age of eight and since finishing school has become a member of the AIS Pro Tour Program. Her favourite food is chocolate.
