| New South Wales is well represented by Jay Andrijic, Jordan Thompson and Abbie Myers who have been selected to represent Australia in the upcoming Junior David and Fed Cup events.

Position Vacant- Competitions Analyst
Tennis NSW is seeking to employ a Competitions Analyst. The Competitions Analyst will work closely with the Community Tennis Officer's to identify key opportunities to develop competition offerings in NSW. A key function of this role will be to analyse and coordinate support for current competitions providers ensuring clear transitions for players from coaching to competition opportunities.

12/U Medibank Teams event serves up three winners
| The 2010 12/U Medibank Teams event was held in Bathurst on the 27-28 February 2010. The event saw twelve teams from across New South Wales compete for the Jan O'Neill and Tony Roche Cups. The boys crown was won by the South East Team, while the Girls title saw the Northumberland and Metro Slices as joint winners |

NSW Sports Federation Awards
| The NSW Sports Federation, of which Tennis NSW is a member, held its annual awards ceremony on 18 February. The black-tie affair saw the cream of NSW sport vie for a number of prestigious awards.
Tennis NSW nominated two of its distinguished members for awards and both were successful.
Norma Stead from the Kiama-Shellharbour Tennis Association received a long service award and Wayne McKewen, who was recognised as the NSW Official-of-the-Year.

North East NSW Juniors battle it out in teams challenge
| Over the weekend of 30th and 31st of January 2010 North East Tennis Region held their annual Upper Region v Lower Region Tennis Teams Challenge at Port Macquarie.
This year we had 128 players from the Upper and Lower regions participating. Players from 10 years of age through to 21 years of age battled out their matches for their region. |

Tennis Australia Professional Development Workshop a hit in Albury
| Tennis Australia together with Tennis NSW successfully organised a Professional Development Workshop in Albury on Sunday 14 February. Over 30 coaches participated in the workshop making it one of the largest in NSW over the last 18 months. The workshop was hosted by Phil Shanahan, Tennis Australia Club Professional Coach and manager of the Margaret Court Tennis Academy. |
