Kendall is a quiet village located just 2km's off the Pacific Highway at Kew on the Mid North Coast. We are 370 km's north-east of Sydney and 36 km south-west of Port Macquarie. Kendall was named in honour of poet Henry Kendall. The population of Kendall is appoximately 1100.
Kendall Tennis Club is one of the most successful tennis clubs on the North Coast. Over the last 10 years the club has seen a remarkable upgrade of their courts and surrounds . The three courts are now synthetic grass replacing high maintenance clay. Seating along with cover and paved areas has transformed and beautified our facility. The tennis courts are situated alongside the river bank and next door to the Kendall Services & Citizens Club.
The Club was named Tennis NSW Country Club of Year in 2004 and won Tennis NSW Junior Development Program of the Year in 2005. In 2007 the Club was name Port Macquarie Hastings Council Sports Club of Year at the Australia Day Awards. The club has had several junior players make it to state tournaments and selected in representive teams.
We are a small club with a large membership(over 200 members a year). Our success is based on the hard work of our committee and loyalty of our club members.
