Rennae Stubbs and Sam Stosur have helped Australia keep a perfect record at in the round-robin stage of the Asia–Oceania Zone Group I competition in Perth.

Stosur and Stubbs combined to defeat Chinese Taipei’s Chin-Wei Chan and Chia-Jung Chuang 6-3 7-6(2).

The match was the finishing touch on what has been an all-round impressive performance for the Australian team, who have only dropped one set on their way to dominating Pool B.

Earlier in the day, Casey Dellacqua defeated I-Hsuan Hwang 6-1 6-1 then Stosur ousted Chin-Wei Chan 6-3 6-0 to give Australia an unassailable 2-0 lead in their third tie of the week.

The Australians will play either New Zealand or Indonesia tomorrow for a spot in the World Group II play-off in April.
