Onkaparinga Tennis Association

About Us

 

The Onkaparinga Tennis Association is located on the Fleurieu Peninsula, in the Adelaide Hills, South Australia. The Association was formed in 1929, by 1938 had clubs from Bulls Creek, Echunga, Macclesfield, Meadows, Kuitpo, Prospect Hill and Mylor playing in programmed competition. Over the years clubs have fluctuated as player numbers change or move to neighbouring Associations. In 1988 the Onkaparinga Association was joined by Alexandra Association to provide more competition for players from both Associations, retaining the Onkaparinga name.

The clubs which currently have teams entered in the Onkaparinga Tennis Association competitions are Clarendon, John Wesley (Strathalbyn), Kangarilla, Langhorne Creek, Macclesfield, McLaren Flat, Strathalbyn and Woodchester.
