Tennis NSW sanctions in excess of 150 tournaments across the state and itself conducts a number of large events for players of all ages.

Tennis NSW Tournament Pathway
Australian Money Tournament (AMT) Open to any age, AMT’s are designed to offer quality match play opportunities and cater for future players and high A grade club players. Prize money and Australian ranking points are awarded in accordance with the level of the event; Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze and White.
|Platinum AMT’s offers $10,000 in total prize money and are the pinnacle of open events. They are designed to be the stepping stone to Pro Tour events.|
|Gold AMT’s offers $7,500 in total prize money across the men’s and women’s open events.|
|Silver AMT’s offers $5,000 in total prize money across the men’s and women’s open events.|
|Bronze AMT’s offers $3,000 in total prize money across the men’s and women’s events.|
|White AMT’s offers $1,500 in total prize money. These are entry level AMT and are perfect fo players progressing from the OJT to open tournaments.|
ITF Junior and Nationals
International Tennis Federation (ITF) World Junior Circuit consists of over 300 tournaments in 115 countries for players 18 years and under. Entries to these events are through Tennis Australia only.
National Junior Championships are held throughout the year. Entries into National Junior Championships events are based on rankings and are limited sized events.
Junior Tour (JT)
The JT is an umbrella tour that provides a clear competitive pathway for aspiring tennis players, offering Australian ranking points across 5 levels; Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze and White. These tournaments offer points across the 12/U, 14/U and 16/U age groups, with selected tournaments also offering points in the 18/U age groups.
|Platinum JT events represent the National Junior Championships.|
|Gold JT events award the highest level of points at the state level with players reaching the final eight playing out of positions 1-8.|
|Silver JT events are mid-high level evnts, suited to experienced tournament players.|
|Bronze JT events are a mid level junior tournament, for both experienced tournaments players and players who have played JT White events.|
|White JT events are the introductory level junior ranking point events.|
Medibank Junior Development Series
The Medibank JDS consists of a series of round robin events in each region, providing junior players with an introduction to tournament play. Players accumulate points at events with the series culminating in a Champion of Champions tournament in each region, followed by the Medibank State Final. Each region has their own Medibank JDS guidelines, so please refer to the relevant regional website for further information.
These are participation events for junior players who are looking to compete in tournaments for the first time. The State Series consists of individual tournaments, of which the majority use round robin format. This gives all players the opportunity to compete in a number of matches.
ANZ Tennis Hot Shots Challenges
This is a follow on from the ANZ Tennis Hot Shots program and aims to provide participants with their first opportunity to compete within a competition environment where fun and participation is the key.
