Clubs are reminded that the NSW Government’s Community Building Partnership program is currently open for 2012. This is a great opportunity to make your tennis facility a more welcoming and inviting venue.
The Community Building Partnership (CBP) program provides funds for community groups and local councils to invest in community infrastructure throughout NSW.
Not-for-profit clubs are eligible to seek the entire project cost as a grant. Favourable consideration will, however, be given to those projects with contributions from their own or from other sources.
While there is no limit to the funding an organisation can seek (outside the limit allocated to each electorate), dlubs should carefully consider how much funding they seek for a project. Previously few projects receive more than $25-$30,000.
Applications must be made here and must be submitted by October 30, 2012
Clubs should refer to the above link to ensure that their project proposals meet the program criteria and Tennis NSW would encourage clubs to meet with their local member to further explain the importance of their project to the local community.
If you need assistance with your application, please contact Tennis NSW Facility Development Manager, Brett Andrews on 9024 7621 or [email protected] .
