Apia International Sydney- Ballkids

Do you love tennis and want to be in the ‘spotlight’ during one of the greatest international sports and entertainment phenomena in New South Wales?

Tennis Australia is currently looking for dedicated kids who are passionate about tennis to volunteer and join the Apia International Sydney (AIS) 2013 Ballkids team!

As an AIS Ballkid, you will work within a fun and energetic team to assist players during matches with their on-court needs, including the retrieval and distribution of tennis balls. To see some of our best ballkids in action, click here to watch the story from Saturday Disney.

To be considered as an AIS Ballkid volunteer:

• You must be aged 13 to 17 during January 2013
• Demonstrate a good understanding of the game of tennis
• Be willing to work hard
• Demonstrate excellent team work and be reliable
• Have unrestricted availability for the period 3rd January to 12th January 2013
• Have full availability for selection trials held in Sydney in late September 2012 (date to be advised)
• Have full availability to attend training sessions (dates TBA)

Before completing the AIS Ballkid application, please ensure that a parent or guardian has read over the above information and consents to your application. Should your application progress to the next stage, your parent or guardian will be required to sign a consent form supporting your application.
