Summary for Project Talent Event U/10's - 1st July 2012

At the Sydney Olympic Park Tennis Centre on 1^st July, forty-six players participated in an invitational Tennis Australia 10/u Project Talent event. It was a full day of fun and  competitive tennis. Spencer Reynolds defeated Dario Kmet in a “nail -biting” final to win the boys event. Kelly Gilmour defeated Caitlyn Portela to win the girls event.

All players left with a certificate of participation and a ribbon.

Project Talent aims to improve the quality and quantity of athletes under the age of 12. This will be achieved through Coaches, Competition and Camps in 2011-2012. It will be integrated further with MLC Tennis Hot Shots to provide a comprehensive Capture component in 2012-2013. Education of coaches, athletes and parents is an integral aspect of Project Talent.
