New Regional Tennis Centre for North Eastern NSW

The Federal Government will contribute approximately $5 Million to the Tweed Shire Council toward the proposed $42 Million Arkinstall Park Project. The initial stages of the re-development include netball courts & tennis centre capable of hosting major events. The proposed commencement date is end of 2012. Future stages will include an indoor sports stadium, a major new clubhouse, multi-use sports fields with grandstands & floodlighting, health & fitness facilities & improved community amenities such as barbeques areas.
